Experiencing Finnish Lifestyle in Tokyo

Lifestyle Finland 2017

The Embassy of Finland's Trade Section (Finpro) is organizing a three-day event open to the public in the trendy shopping area of Aoyama, Tokyo on September 21-23. Visitors can enjoy and buy Finnish products at the Pop-Up Shop, and participate in workshops and seminars at the same venue. A business-to-business event will also be held in the first two days for buyers and media.

Walk just a few minutes from Omotesando Station, and you will be greeted by the cozy atmosphere of Lounge T&G downstairs, the Pop-Up Shop including accessories, kitchen and sauna items, posters, bags and textile products. While shopping, visitors can also enjoy the prize-winning works of "My Finland" Photo & Illustration Contest, organized this spring by the Finnish Embassy and the Finnish Institute in Tokyo, that are on display for the first time (only exhibited on Sept 21-22).

The venue also has a room for workshops and seminars, inviting people to listen about yoga in sauna, politics and culture, and how Finns live with nature. Tokiko Horiuchi, Project Coordinator at the Embassy of Finland will also give a lecture on Finland's gender equality, childcare and maternity package. Those interested should check the Facebook page, as some workshops need registration beforehand.
